4 What’s the difference between TN, STN and FSTN

When looking at the differences between TN and STN, the difference lies in the angle in which it is twisted. TN is twisted at an angle of 90 degrees, while STN can have an angle between 90 and 270 degrees. This provides more contrast than twisted nematic (TN) displays. With the change of twisted angle and different angles of polarizer film, STN can display yellow-green, blue and gray modes. STN is superior to TN in more duty cycles and excellent opto-electro functions. STN also require less power and are less expensive to manufacture than TFT LCDs, another popular type of LCD. However, STN displays typically suffer from lower image quality and slower response time than TFT displays. STN displays are used in some inexpensive mobile phones and informational screens of some digital products.

FSTN has special retardation films added with the rear polarizer to make up for the interfering color of STN so that a true color can be seen. Different angles of the film can create more options, i.e. positive, white/gray background with black font; negative, black background with gray/white font.

5 What’s the features of Project Capacitive TP

Multi-Touch, High Speed Reported Rate, Higher Resolution, Scratch-Resistant, Higher S/N Rate, Higher Transparency, Higher Accuracy, Better Linearity, Smudge-Resistant.

6 What’s the difference between Resistive TP and Capacitive TP

Please refer to our website for Technical information.

The technology of Project Capacitive TP is to measure the capacitance change among different polarities of the patterns between X-axis (X-layer) & Y-axis (Y-layer) then to detect the actual touch positions. Due to the human body is moisturized and considerably suitable as a better conductor, so, when human fingers touch these polarities, the capacitance between the fingers & the polarities will be changed therefore, the actual points being touched can be detected; unlike the pressure sensing method of Resistive Touch, CCD visual sensing of Optical Touch & Sonic Acoustic sensing of SAW.

7 What is your regular RMA working process

Customers complain quality issue, Sales receive complain information and pass to QA dept. QA analyze and provide report to sales, Sales reply analyzes result to customer.

8 What’s your product life time In case of EOL, how long will you give Customer notice in advance

Generally speaking, the product life time depends on the usage for customer application. There are various products so that we can not promise the same life time for each item. Moreover the product life time is effected by IC and panel life time. If we get the EOL from IC or panel supplier, we will inform our customer to arrange last buy.

9 In case of product EOL, what will you do in order to prevent from customer’s trouble and business

In case of IC & panel supplier announce the EOL, we will help customer to arrange find the second source and compatible product to deduct the customer’s trouble and business loss. The real situation should be case by case.
